Welcome to the official site for The Showdown, an exciting sailing regatta, now in its third year, that has established itself as one of Tasmania's biggest and best annual sailing events. Based at the RYCT's Sandy Bay clubhouse in Hobart and sailed on the broad waters of the River Derwent, 'The Showdown' is a three day event (two days for off-the-beach classes) starting with a twilight spinnaker event on the evening of Friday, 4th November.
